Hank’s Red Hot

9 to play, 4 point lead.  That’s the situation at the bottom of the standings in the NHL’s Western Conference.  The Red Wings maintained their lead over Calgary with a 4-2 win over division foe St. Louis last night.

The line of Henrik Zetterberg, Valtteri Filppula and Todd Bertuzzi, for the second straight game, accounted for all the scoring.

Said Bertuzzi, “We’ve got a long road ahead of us. We will just keep plugging along. It’s going good right now, but with our depth, we’re always going to find ways to score.” (DetNews)

The Wings are 3 points behind the 5th seeded Los Angeles Kings, while only 2 points separate the Wings, Predators and Avalanche.
